Our Story
My name is Andrew, and I was born and raised right here in Brooksville, Florida. This community is home — it's where I grew up, where I'm raising my family, and where I built my business.
For 20 years, I worked as an athletic trainer, primarily at local high schools. I have a Master's degree in Exercise Science and spent two decades helping student athletes stay healthy and perform their best. It was rewarding work, and I loved being part of the athletic community.
But the late nights covering football games, basketball tournaments, and track meets started taking a toll. I was missing too much time with my wife and two young daughters. I knew something had to change.
What started as a side job — pressure washing on weekends and days off — quickly grew into something more. I realized I had a real talent for it, and more importantly, I genuinely loved the work. There's something incredibly satisfying about transforming a dirty, stained property and seeing the homeowner's reaction when it looks brand new again.
So I made the leap. I went full time with pressure washing, and Black Lab Power Wash was born.
Why “Black Lab”?
The name comes from our family's black Labrador, Griff. Our family loves animals — especially dogs — and Griff has been a huge part of our lives. When it came time to name the business, it was a no-brainer. Black Lab Power Wash represents everything we value: loyalty, hard work, and making people happy.
